About Us
Peace and Development Collaborative Organization (PDCO) was initiated in June 2010 to advocate for and promote access to good governance (peace building and conflict resolution); promote human rights through lobby and advocacy for marginalized groups (women and girl child); enhance food security and livelihood and sharing of information of ideas to harness socio economic development through awareness on social justice and respect of human rights. Build the capacity of the local institutions, youth and women and transforming of negative cultural practices for peaceful co-existence, transparent civil society for a just society.
Therefore, Peace and Development Collaborative Organization is a non-partisan, non-profit making and a neutral civil society organization that uses human rights-based approach to promote respect for human dignity, socio economic growth and peaceful co-existence among the communities through awareness and development for a just society
Our Mission
To empower citizens to achieve national development goals. We do this through advocacy, training & information sharing, peace building & conflict management, returnees’ recovery & rehabilitation support services, support to learning processes and facilities, livelihoods services to harness social justice for economic recovery in the communities, conservation & empowerment of communities in and around national parks, among others.

accountable gender sensitive society committed to principles of peace and
economic development with all the stakeholders.
v Promote human rights and respect of human
dignity at all levels in collaboration with the relevant authorities,
traditional leaders and organized forces.
v Develop strategies and build the capacities of
local institution to combat food insecurity and promotes livelihood.
v Strive for peace building and conflict
transformation for a just society.
